Tips for New Students:

Bring a Yoga mat if you have one – we have plenty to share if you don’t have your own.

Wear comfortable workout clothes.  You do not need any special clothing to practice Yoga, but if your clothing is too loose fitting, you may find it gets in the way.

Yoga is practiced with bare feet. Please leave your shoes at the door.

As a courtesy to other students, please put your cell phone on quiet or turn it off.

To ensure your comfort, it is best to wait to 2 to 3 hours after a heavy meal and an hour after a smaller meal before practicing Yoga.

Arriving a few minutes early is great!  You can ask questions, find a spot for your mat and relax before the class begins.

Let the instructor know if there is anything going on with you physically so they can help you modify your poses to avoid further injury.

ENJOY!!

Other Suggestions:

Scheduling a Private or Semi-Private class is another option for learning the basics in breathing, alignment and postures.
